Come and join us for a live performance by Pedler // Russell to discover life as a seasonal migrant worker in British farming followed by an audience Q&A.
We will uncover the stories of migrant workers and farmers in post-Brexit and pandemic times by exploring rural work through music. Pedler // Russell bring you new folk music interpreting the social themes present in modern day Britain. The duo was commissioned by researchers to produce a song based on their interviews with migrants living and working on farms in the UK. The song will be performed alongside tracks from their album Field and Dyke which explores the stories of farming communities in South Lincolnshire.
