The Great Tapestry, Abbotsford and Galashiels: The Impact of Cultural Tourism

What’s on offer?

Each session will present the results of a survey of visitors to the Great Tapestry carried out between April and September 2022 by researchers at the University of Aberdeen. You will also watch a short documentary film about tourism in Abbotsford and Galashiels and learn more about the impact of cultural tourism on the area.

What’s it about?

The session will cover cultural tourism's social, economic and overall impact in Abbotsford and Galashiels. You will be able to learn more about the area and the impact of cultural tourism on visitors and communities as well as ask any questions.
