Join us as we celebrate the launch of Lunate Vol. 2! Editor, Gary Kaill, will be hosting a discussion on all things literary with Lunate contributors Adam Farrer, author of the award winning collection of essays: Cold Fish Soup, Ben Pester, whose debut short story collection Am I in the Right Place? was published in 2021 by Boiler House Press, and was long listed for the 2022 Edge Hill Prize, and Stu Hennigan who recently published his searing memoir GHOST SIGNS, a brilliant eye witness account of Poverty and The Pandemic.
Questions from the audience will be welcomed throughout.
Each author will also be reading a short section of their work that appears in Vol.2.
All attendees will receive a free copy of Lunate Vol. 2 and copies of Lunate Vol. 1 will be on sale alongside Adam, Ben, and Stu's books.
After the discussion there will be opportunities for book signings from all three authors.
Lunate is a Manchester based literary journal founded and edited by Hannah Clark and Gary Kaill. Lunate began as an online platform for short fiction and poetry but in August 2022 we made the leap into print and our first volume was published, containing nine exceptional short stories. Vol. 2 contains a mixture of short stories and non-fiction essays that we have commissioned to reflect the strange times we are living in and the hope and humour we must meet them with.
This event is suitable for anyone over the age of 16 with an interest in place within literature.
