Smarter spending for sustainable societies: a public procurement board game (Cardiff University Event)

My local area theme

What’s on offer?

Societies are facing complex challenges and our public services (healthcare, transport, energy, housing, waste management, policing etc.) are under intense pressure. We cannot solve problems that we do not talk about, so come along to spend the evening playing a new board game, designed to spark conversations about public services, public spending choices, and policies for building prosperous, resilient, and globally responsible societies. The board game is played in teams of 4, but you can come as a larger or smaller group and get matched up with other people on the spot.

Mae cymdeithasau yn wynebu heriau cymhleth ac mae ein gwasanaethau cyhoeddus (gofal iechyd, cludiant, ynni, tai, rheoli gwastraff, plismona ac ati) dan bwysau dwys. Ni allwn ddatrys problemau nad ydym yn siarad amdanynt, felly dewch draw i dreulio’r noson yn chwarae gêm fwrdd newydd, sydd wedi’i dylunio i sbarduno sgyrsiau am wasanaethau cyhoeddus, dewisiadau gwariant cyhoeddus, a pholisïau ar gyfer adeiladu cymdeithasau ffyniannus, gwydn a chyfrifol. Mae'r gêm fwrdd yn cael ei chwarae mewn timau o 4, ond gallwch ddod fel grŵp mwy neu lai a chael eich paru â phobl eraill yn y fan a'r lle.
