This is an interactive art installation featuring art works produced by sex workers documenting contemporary sex worker experiences in Nottingham. Produced in collaboration with World Jam, it features a collection of interviews, poetry, illustrations, paintings, sculptures, photographs and other art works created and curated by sex workers. Take a deep dive into not just sex work but the everyday lives and experiences of some of Nottingham's sex workers as the exhibition also features sex workers' stories that reflect the multiplicity of contemporary sex worker experiences and highlight the history of sex workers' rights, migrant rights and labour rights. The main exhibition will also feature short talks on the history of sex workers rights and social justice, and law reform by sex worker peer educators, researchers in our Criminology department and the local charity, POW, that promotes health and dignity in sex work through empowerment, support and peer education for people working in the sex industry.
