This interactive event aims to facilitate conversations about inclusive and accessible spaces in Salford and to generate ideas about how to increase inclusivity across the city. The conversations will also raise awareness about the need for more inclusive and age-friendly spaces across the City and inform the general public about how research at the University of Salford is helping develop such spaces.
Two short ‘pop-up’ events are being held across the City of Salford to explore how people have been reengaging with their favourite places across the city, and their ideas about different places can be made more accessible to everyone. The events aim to facilitate conversations about inclusive and accessible spaces in Salford and to generate ideas about how to increase inclusivity. The conversations will also raise awareness about the need for more inclusive and age-friendly spaces in the city and inform the general public about how research at the University of Salford is helping develop such spaces.
This is a collaborative event jointly delivered by Eve Blezard – Research Fellow and Ian Cookson- Research Assistant (jointly funded by the University and Transport for Greater Manchester).
The general public.
