What’s on offer?

This is one of five webinars on the Future of Work based on research from the Work, Employment and Organisation Research Group (WEORG) at Nottingham University Business School. The webinars will be 60-minutes long and will include a 30-minute talk and a 30-minute Q&A. The Webinars will be presented on MS Teams.

What’s it about?

New forms of work and employment have intensified working patterns, leading to increased challenges relating to the health, safety, and well-being of the workforce. This webinar will focus on disentangling a long-standing question: is legislation any good for improving working conditions and employee wellbeing? We will first discuss the results of a recent study comparing countries across Europe and its implications for other regions. Next, we will discuss the process by which governments adopt legislation to promote health, safety, and well-being at work. We will do this through analysing the Chilean experience of developing and implementing a policy to address work-related stress.
