What’s on offer?

A panel discussion on COVID-19 research with a Q&A. This session draws on quantitative research about who’s mental health experiences have been most unequally experienced through COVID-19, drawing on wider research on inequalities to frame the discussion.

What’s it about?

Women, young people and minority ethics groups in the UK have experienced the most adverse mental health throughout COVID-19. These statistics examined by Prof Eugenio Proto suggest that this can exacerbate the already long-standing inequalities that women, and Black and minority ethics groups face in daily UK life.

This event is a panel discussion of recent research in these areas and looks to you, the audience, to share your thoughts and ask questions about what this might mean for policies and the direction of future research on the impacts of COVID-19.
