This is the second international symposium on social work practitioner research organised by Dr Sui Ting Kong , based on her internationally significant research on social work practice and research methods. In this symposium, we will invite academic and practitioner speakers from all over the world to present on social work research across the borders.
Dr Sui-Ting Kong will be speaking on how to promote transnational learning in social work through a networtked approach to collaboration. The event will feature a keynote speech addressing the theme of diversity, followed by parallel panels, led by members of the BASW UK Network for Social Work Practitioner Research, discussing priority issues related to race and ethnicity, neurodiversity, disability and poverty and class in social work. A journal special issue call will be launched in the event , of which Dr Sui-Ting Kong and Dr Jane Shears are the editors.
