Accessibility
FoSS are committed to making our website as accessible as possible so that as many people as possible are able to use it. With that in mind we have created this site taking best practice web accessibility guidelines into account (including WCAG 2.0, WCAG 2.1)
This website is designed to work with your assistive technology
- It has skip navigation links so assistive technology users can reach the page content quickly
- It uses appropriate ARIA codes and landmarks to aid navigation
- You can change colours, contrast levels and fonts
- You can zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
- You can navigate the website using just a keyboard
- You can navigate the website using speech recognition software
- You can listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
- We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand
We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:
- Some websites we link to may not have been tested for their accessibility
- 3rd Party Videos from YouTube may not have closed captions (where possible we provide transcripts)
If you have a disability AbilityNet has advice on how to make your device easier to use.
